I will introduce how to cook rice deliciously without using a rice cooker.
It’s easier than you think.
Ingredients
The same amount of water as white rice
Method
Step 1
Put the desired amount of white rice in a pan, add plenty of water and stir.
Then, throw away the water so that the rice does not spill.
Repeat this several times until the water is no longer turbid.
Finally, discard the water to prevent the rice from spilling.
Step 2
Put the same amount of water in the pot.
Soak in water for at least 30 minutes.
(The rice turns a little white.)
Step 3
Put the pot on medium heat.
The pot does not cover.
Step 4
Once the water boils, turn it to high heat.
By doing so, air bubbles will spread throughout the pot.
Step 5
Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
Step 6
Turn off the heat .
Then cover and leave for 15 minutes.
If you cook rice in a pot, you will get a burnt part.
It is called scorched rice, but in Japanese it is “OKOGE”.
The scorched rice is delicious.
