Spinach and tofu salad

Tofu, which is a typical Japanese ingredient, has become easy to buy these days.
It is nutritious and ideal for dieting. This time, I will introduce how to make side dishes using this tofu.


150g Tofu (silk is better)
200g spinach
30g carrot
1 tbsp. Grounded white sesame
1 tbsp. Soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. Sugar
1/3 tsp. Dried dashi
A little salt


Step 1
Wrap the tofu in kitchen paper, weigh it, and drain it for about 15 minutes.

Step 2
Boil water in a pan, add spinach and boil for about 1 minute.
Immediately cool with water and squeeze well.
Cut into 3 cm width.

Step 3
Cut the carrots into 2 cm long pieces and boil them for eating.

Step 4
Put the tofu in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
When smooth, add soy sauce, ground sesame seeds and sugar.

Step 5
Mix tofu sauce, spinach and carrot.

Over time, the ingredients will become moist and watery. It’s best to eat as soon as possible after mixing.
