Introducing a simple Japanese-style cooking method for chicken rice, which is a popular dish in Southeast Asia.
It’s very easy, so please give it a try.
Ingredients
250g chicken
1 tbsp. Shio-koji
(or 1 tsp salt)
1/2 tsp. Grated garlic
2 tbsp. Sake
1/2 tsp. Grated ginger
50g leek
-lemon sauce-
*1 tbsp. Oil
*1/2 tbsp. Honey
*1tbsp lemon juice
*1/2 tsp. Ginger
*a little pepper
-soy sauce sauce-
**2 tbsp. Soy sauce
**2 tbsp. Mirin
**2 tbsp. Sake
**1 tbsp. Sugar
A little grated ginger
Method
Step 1
Make a hole in the chicken breast skin with a fork, rub shio-koji, Sake and garlic, and leave it for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Wash rice and pour water according to the scale of the rice cooker.
Step 3
Put chicken(with sake), ginger and leek and cook.
Step 4
During cook rice, make sauce.
-Lemon sauce-
Mix oil, honey, lemon juice, ginger and pepper (marked * )
-Soy sauce sauce-
Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake and sugar.
Heat it in W800 microwave for 30 seconds .
Mix well.
And one more time heat it in W800 microwave for 30 seconds .
Put ginger and mix well.
Step 5
When the rice is cooked, remove the chicken and leeks and mix the rice.
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and place on rice.
