This time, I will introduce a healthy Japanese home-cooked dish using chicken, tofu and spinach.
Ingredients
80 g spinach
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 packed Tofu
1 tsp. Oil
1 tbsp. water
A 100 cc water
A 1 tbsp. Sake
A 1 tbsp. Soy sauce
A 1/2 tbsp. Mirin
B 1/2 tbsp. Potato starch
B 1 tbsp. Water
Method
Step 1
Boil spinach in salt water(about 2 min)
After boiled, cool it, drain water and cut into about 5cm.
Step 2
Cut chicken to bite-size.
Step 3
Put oil into the pan, and stir chicken.
Step 4
When 80% of the chicken is fried, add the tofu while tearing it into small pieces by hand.
Step 5
Add water, sake, soy sauce and mirin (Marked A)
Step 6
Add boiled spinach
Step 7
Mix potato starch and water (Marked B) and slowly put it in a pan to thicken it.
If you tear the tofu by hand, the taste will be easier to soak in.
