Pork Kakuni ( Boiled pork that tastes good )

“Kakuni” is a healthy and delicious dish that is prepared by removing the oil from the pork. And it’s very soft and goes well with white rice. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients

700 g Pork Belly Strips
White water that came out when washing rice
50 g ginger
200 ml Water
2.5 tbsp. Soy sauce
2 tbsp. Sake
1 tbsp. Sugar
Some leeks
2 eggs

Methods

Step 1

Cut pork to about 4 cm
Slice ginger
Cut leek about 3 cm

Step 2

Put pork, ginger and white water in a pan and boil 30 minutes.

Stop the heat of pan and cover lid .

Leave it 30 minutes.

Repeat three times.

During boiling pork, prepare boiled egg.

(Slowly put the eggs in boiling water and boil for 9 minutes.)

Step 3

After pork boiled, wash pork carefully.
(Pork is very soft and easily crumbles.)

Step 4

Put pork, ginger, leek, water, soy sauce, sake and sugar.
Boil about 28 minutes.

Step 5

Put boiled eggs and boil more 2 minutes.
