Japanese pan cake “OKONOMIYAKI”


This time, I will introduce how to make Japanese-style pancake “Okonomiyaki” using cabbage. Very healthy and very popular with children.


100g flour
3 tsp. Powdered Dashi
1 egg
120 ml Warm water
200g cabbage
100g un-smoked bacon
Some Japanese OKONOMI sauce
Some mayonnaise
Some Bonito flake
Some oil


Step 1
Mix flour , dashi powder, egg and water.

Step 2
Cut the cabbage into julienne.
Cut the bacon into bite-size.

Step 3
Mix all ingredients.

Step 4
Oil the frying pan.
Put half of the ingredients in a frying pan and
Make it round.

Step 5
Cook to the inside.
Repeat this to make two.

Step 6
Sprinkle OKONOMI sauce, mayonnaise and dried bonito on the finished pancakes.


In Japan, instead of bacon, pork, cheese, or seafood are used to enjoy various flavors. Please try it.
