Carrot “Shirishiri” (Super easy recipe)

The word “Shirishiri” is a dialect of Okinawa in Japan, which means to make julienne.
Introducing how to make a super-simple dish with carrots, canned tuna and Bonito soup base (mentsuyu).

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Sesame oil
1 canned tuna
(“in oil” is better. )
2 small carrots
1 tbsp. Mentsuyu (bonito soup base)

Method

Step 1

Shred carrots

Step 2

Put sesame oil and canned tuna with oil into the frying pan.

Step 3

Add carrot.
When carrots are soft, put Mentsuyu.
Please adjust the amount to your taste.

It’s a little hard to chop the carrots, but otherwise it’s very easy.
This is a very useful recipe when you have a lot of carrots or want another side menu.
